Alarm clock says 6 hours and 10 mins.
I have set it to 0 hours and 0 mins, but it still says 6h 10m.

Where is pre amp? I found it and upped the setting, and things sound a bit
crispy now. I want to adjust it.
I will listen to the tutorial and see what's up.

Ok, Bill.
Here's the latest firmware for the Sansa Clip Plus:
http://www.wuala.com/TalkingMP3Players/Firmware/Clip%20Plus/.rockbox.zip/
Download.
Unzip.
Inside the folder that gets created, you should find a folder named .rockbox,
that's the one you want.
First though, move the folder named .rock box from your player to your computer
for safekeeping.
Now, paste in the new .rockbox folder onto the player.
Once it's there, safely remove your player.
Physically disconnect it.
Then restart it.
And, that's that.
