Hi Laz,Thanks for that, about the Drivers being Corrupt, and not the USB Port being at fault. I deleted the Drivers for the Sansa Player, and then used a new USB Port, and it fixed the Problem, and at first it assigned Drive F, and I was able to complete Downloading the Latest Rockbox Update for Version 2, and install on my Sansa Fuze Player. I then went through the proper ejecting of the Player, and then gave it the 30 Second reset, after which I then reconnected the Player to my Computer using the USB Port I had used a few minutes earlier, and this time Drive L, was assigned to the Sansa Fuze, and using RB Clip, I went through the Process of getting the Audio Book, spoken with the voice of Neo Paul, and I must say, the RB Clip Method is far simpler and superior to the Rockbox method that we used to use.
Player is now working perfectly, and thanks for all your Help! You seem to be a Wonderful Patient and Helpful Guy, with heaps of Knowledge, for you seem to come up with Answers to all the Problems that we Sansa Users throw at you !
Keep it up, for without you I think We would get Stuck more often. Once again Thanks for your Help, which is much appreciated. Hi Trevor, It's not the USB ports that fail, it's the driver that gets corrupted for the player on that particular port. So one has to either delete the driver and then reconnect the player so that the driver gets set up anew or use a different USB port on which a driver for the player will be set up if you haven't used that port previously. Just wanted to clear that up. Laz On 5/4/14, "coromandel Gold" <tigermotion@xxxxxxxxxx> wrote:Hi Roy,Tried your suggestion, but still could not get message read out as to helpto fix problem. Laz has however told me to Reset the Player, with the holding down of thePower Button for 30 seconds, and reconnecting which I did and my Computer has now recognized the Sansa Fuze Player again, and it is currently redown loading the drivers, which will have already been completed before I evengot part way through this email. The USB Ports on my Computer are all working as I tested them with anotherexternal Hard Drive so no failure of the USB Ports, just the failure of computer to recognize the Sansa Player. So now hopefully it will be happy days again and I can listen to both AudioBooks and music? Many thanks for your suggestion though. Trevor. But unfortunately, as much as I try, and not being able to read the screen of my Computer, I am unable to Click on the Message. So that doesn't help me any! Sorry to cause you such a headache, with this problem. I even thought of installing the Sansa Fuze Files onto my Computer, to see if that would help? but no worries, I have not attempted to try that option, being unsure if it would work or not?
