Why don't you just set the users who are being unsubscribed due to bouncing so that bouncing will not unsubscribe them. I know freelists has this option as I have a list there. Also, remove the vacation flag from the people who have it.

the email message bouncing issues which apparently haunts mailinglists hosted by Freelists. I was shocked to discover the percentage of
email addresses that had been set to vacation mode, which was thelesser of two evils with the other one being unsubscription due to
bounces. So in the end, Freelists is good for those whose email addresses don't bounce but worthless for those unlucky enough to bounce for whatever reason. One of those list owners who had pointed out the Freelists bounce issues had switched his mailing list to a different service andreported that it was very accessible and easy and he hasn't had the
bouncing issues there that he did when his list was hosted by Freelists. I have since set up a list there for a buy, sell, trade list thatneeded to move from Yahoo, and it has been very easy and accessible. I
have taken theprimary steps for moving this list there as well.So just giving you a heads up that I plan to move this file in the near future. I may have to invite you all if I can't just subscribe
you automatically but that's still to be determined. Anyway, that's my update on the situation. Regards, Laz --Affordably priced Accessible Talking MP3 Players, Accessible phones,
