I have yet to come across a shooter suffering from lead poisoning ...

As for me, I melted lead when I was young, and made up many diving weights from scrap, including a lot of corroded wire sheathing which made a lot of dust. From around 1964, I tended to hold tin-lead solder in my teeth to solder quickly, a habit which I tried to give up but never really kicked. I was accepted in Mensa (but left, another story) and my children are in the same bracket. In the 1980s I requested a test for lead poisoning, which was negative.

I have a hard time believing that lead is as bad as environmentalists tell me!
