According to an IPC source (a large manufacturer of PC boards), this bill is
apparently going nowhere.
- No other sponsors have signed on to this bill.
- At least 3 meetings between Rep.Burgess's office and industry associaitons
have been cancelled.
- There are no hearings scheduled on this bill. etc, etc ...
The IPC EHS (environmental health and safety) Committee has relayed its
opposition to this bill to the IPC Gov't Relations Committee.
If anything materializes, IPC will notify members and work to provide
opposition comments.
