Hello! Hope all is going well. Vista Service Pack 1 is now shipping with new machines that are coming out and as of yet, I have not run into any issues. Often, it is with existing machines that get the upgrade is when problems tend to arrive. The new service pack is expected to be an "urgent" or "critical" update and will likely install on it's own. By default, Vista is set for automatic updates to download all critical updates. XP Service Pack 3 is in it's final testing and should be available for release within the next 30 - 45 days. I have not seen any updates on it yet. From what I've seen on the white papers, I do not see anything that should drastically affect the system. On a XP note, Microsoft will no longer be providing it to consumers beginning June 18. DELL will also no longer be supplying it. With this being said, if you require an XP machine or wish to keep a couple in stock, let me know as soon as possible so I can get you a quote. I will attempt to stock up on a few myself; however, I can only carry so much inventory. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact me at mike@xxxxxxxxxxxxx or 702-492-1290.
