?Performance and Scalability? Software Developer KevSoft Announces Series A
Funding

Receives $1.0 Million in Series A Round From Southeastern Technology Fund to
Deliver New Generation of Fully Automated Performance and Scalability
Solutions

ALPHARETTA, GA, August 22, 2002 - Performance and scalability software
developer KevSoft Corporation today announced that is has received Series A
funding from Southeastern Technology (SET) Fund, a venture capital firm that
teams with talented entrepreneurs to build industry-leading technology
companies located primarily in the Southeast.

KevSoft offers a new category of performance management software tools that
improve the performance and scalability of Windows-based application servers
and desktops. Its first product, TScale, targets servers running Citrix®
MetaFrame and Microsoft® Terminal Services. By optimizing a server?s use of
virtual memory, TScale allows customers to immediately increase the number
of users per server an average of 33%, avoiding the costs of buying
additional servers. ?TScale?s economic value proposition is simple and
compelling?, said Bernd Harzog, CEO of KevSoft. ?We allow our customers to
rapidly increase the capacity of their existing servers at a price that
delivers an instant ROI of more than 400% compared to the alternative of
making additional hardware purchases.?

?Southeastern Technology Fund?s investment was based on KevSoft?s proven
ability to deliver innovative software solutions that provide customers with
rapid and substantial cost savings,? said Mark Dunkel, Managing Partner of
Southeastern Technology Fund. ?With a large, growing customer base and
significant interest from channel partners, TScale provides KevSoft with a
strong platform on which to extend its unique ?find it, fix it, report it?
methodology to other categories of servers outside of its initial target
niche.?

The Series A round of funding will be used to help market the company's
products and to extend the company?s product line. Both Mark Dunkel and
Ramsay Battin, a Principal at Southeastern Technology Fund, will join
KevSoft?s Board of Directors.

Since launching the product in October, 2001, KevSoft has equipped over 45
customers with TScale, increasing the capacity of their server farms. ?We
have found TScale to be one of those unique products that delivers instant,
quantifiable cost savings and which doesn?t require human intervention or
any post-installation baby-sitting,? says Jeff Malczewski, IS Manager at
NAFS/SITEL. ?A small investment in TScale eliminated the need to purchase
over $30,000 worth of server hardware. We are now running it on 11 servers
and will continue to use it for all of our facilities, both existing and
new. It is the single best product I have worked with!?
