15.12.2004 - Now available: .print Remote Desktop Printing Engine for
Microsoft Terminal Services

ThinPrint has introduced a solution specifically designed for Microsoft
Terminal Services to the market and released a free demo version that can
be downloaded here. http://www.thinprint.com/dotprint/index.php?s=372&lc=1

With Microsoft Terminal Services, home and remote offices can be provided
with applications inexpensively and conveniently, even over low-bandwidth
connections. Until now, though, printing in this infrastructure usually
lead to bottlenecks in the network. The new .print RDP Engine solves this
problem by compressing print data up to 98%. Thanks to ThinPrint?s DRIVER
FREE PRINTING technology, printer drivers do not have to be installed on
the server. This technology simplifies system administration and prevents
printer driver conflicts, therefore ensuring stable server function. With
the RDP Engine, any printer, including USB and all-in-one devices, can be
used in satellite offices. With the .print Remote Desktop Printing Engine,
which exclusively supports the Microsoft RDP protocol, ThinPrint promises
a product that is easy to install and requires absolutely no
administration.
