Citrix?s Seventh Annual Global Business and Technology Forum Will
Demonstrate the Business Benefits of Secure, On-Demand Information Access
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. ? 8/31/2004 ? Citrix Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:CTXS), the
global leader in access infrastructure solutions, today announced that the
focus of Citrix iForum? Global 2004 will be ?The Strategic Power of Access.?
Citrix?s seventh annual global business and technology forum, to be held
October 4-7 at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin resort in Orlando,
Fla., will demonstrate how a strategic approach to information access can
reduce the cost of running a business, while freeing up resources to invest
in growing the business.

Citrix iForum Global is an intensive knowledge exchange that brings together
current and future Citrix customers and partners from around the world. The
conference features a variety of well-known industry speakers, hands-on
technical workshops, a Technology Lab, roundtable discussions and product
demonstrations, as well as sessions geared toward key Citrix vertical
industries, including government, healthcare, financial services and
education.

?The Cuyahoga County Public Library system, serving 668,000 members in 47
communities, recently enacted a full access strategy with Citrix to open its
vast information resources to patrons and staff alike,? said Jim Kenzig,
network manager for Cuyahoga County Public Library. ?We?re happy to use a
breakout session at iForum Global to describe the steps we took to implement
our access strategy and the tremendous value it delivers, from deploying
Microsoft Office products to all staff in a single day to helping patrons
seamlessly conduct their research as they move from workstations on one
floor to another.?

This year?s iForum Global is designed to educate executives and IT
professionals on how an access strategy, executed with an access
infrastructure solution, can transform their organization into an on-demand
enterprise, where any information is securely, easily, and instantly
accessible from anywhere using any device. Access infrastructure provides
the power to run a company more efficiently through centralized management
of applications and information and effortless information access for
employees and partners. Greater efficiency yields cost savings that can be
channeled into business expansion and growth. Access infrastructure also
supplies the power to mobilize employees, partners and suppliers toward
common goals through real-time information delivery that facilitates faster
and better decision-making, more flexible work situations, closer customer
relationships, and more effective collaboration.

To address the specific needs of attendees as expressed in past year?s
surveys, this year?s conference will offer more than 70 breakout sessions in
four tracks targeted toward the specific role that attendees perform in
their organizations.

Senior business and technology decision-makers. The track entitled, ?New
Ways to Grow Your Business for Less: Adopting a Strategic Approach to
Access? will offer sessions focused on how on-demand information access
supports key business initiatives ? from M&A and branch office expansion to
regulatory compliance and IT resource centralization.

IT managers. The track entitled, ?Increase IT Responsiveness by Reducing IT
Complexity? will provide a blend of business and technical perspectives for
the IT manager looking for solutions to the challenge of IT complexity.

IT staff and developers. These attendees can choose from two tracks that
cover the technical details of access infrastructure. The track entitled,
?Run a More Secure and Well-managed IT Environment? focuses on the security
and management benefits of centralizing IT. The second track, ?Optimize the
Performance of Your Citrix Access Infrastructure,? explains how to optimize
and expand an existing Citrix implementation to meet changing business
needs.
Citrix iForum Global 2004 has increased the scope of its offerings through a
60-percent increase in session content, including eight extended sessions
providing in-depth content on a range of topics related to access. New
Hands-on Technical Workshops will provide intensive training in Citrix
products in a series of three-hour workshops available to iForum Global
attendees for an additional fee of $500. These workshops will be held
immediately after the conference on October 6-7.

On a lighter note, well-known comedian Sinbad will deliver a closing
keynote ? also new to iForum Global this year.
