Its not Workspace Control your looking to modify,  but the web.config file
and IIS timeout values.

i have users telling me that after 10 minutes, their web session logs them
out.  i timed this myself and after about 20 minutes, it disconnected me
from my web session. i did not have any apps open, just connected to wi. i
unchecked the workspace control option in wi, but it is still doing it. not
sure if a reboot is needed.
