Hi,
It'll work fine and if you can get the dual core Opterons it will go very well
indeed.
The AMD CPU runs 32 bit code natively, and if you decide later that you want to
install the x64 64 bit version of Windows Server 2003 it will also run that.
The main benefit of the x64 architecture is that it runs both 32 bit and 64 bit
code essentially natively, giving you a choice. Performance is good in either
case but your memory adressibility is much greater with x64.

I want to install windows 2003 32bits version on Proliant DL 385 server "AMD
64bits processor
Is that possible? If yes and how about performance is that less than when the
32 bits of server is installed on processor Intel with 32 bits extension.
