[THIN] web interface 5.1 slooooooow

Got a new WI 5.1 running. Internal only and newly installed 64bit windows
2003.
it is taking over 12 minutes from the time I hit go on
http://servername/Citrix/Xenapp until I see the login.aspx page.
tried ctx117273 and it made no difference.
Anyone else seen anything like this before? Seems like the client detection
takes several minutes by itself.
