I think it depends on the client. My HP T5520 terminals map a \\client\a$
<file://\\client\a$> drive at login and an inserted USB key becomes a
subfolder of that share.

Subject: [THIN] usb drive inserted while session running

Hi,

Is it possible to have an USB key mapped in the user's session without
having to log off/on this user first? In other words, can a user insert
his/her USB stick and have it appeared in his/her session automatically?

We have CPS4 on Windows 2003 SP1

Regards,

Erik
