Ron-- We had a very similar issue just recently in one of our production farms. In our situation we had our Metaframe farm built and in use for a number of months and then added the customer's domain as a trusted domain. Our NFuse servers were doing great prior to adding the trusted domain as far as passing authentication for our local domain users, and they continued to work fine after adding the customer's domain. However, when we published applications out to users in the trusted Customer domain, we noted that when customer's clicked on their applications it would not pass through the credentials instead it was trying to logon to our local domain. After some head scratching, cursing, and guessing we found that logging each of our application server into the new trusted domain from the console fixed this issue for us. Once each of the application servers had been logged into the trusted domain from the console (and logged off -- then logged back onto our domain to ensure that! we would still be able to logon to our own domain without screwing stuff up) we had customer's test whether their credential would pass and sure enough it worked fine. Don't ask me why the heck that worked but hey--I don't ask questions. :) Thanks, Mason B. In testing we are seeing that users from trusted domains get the logon box but users from within the domain that the servers reside do not. Anyone get this to work with a User connecting from a trusted domain? 2- To get pass through to work I have had to use the full client. Anyone ever stripped down the full client to reduce its footprint. I have done it with the web client, but not the full.
