Check out the readme for PS 4.5 HRP 01. Multimonitor Support To enable multimonitor support, make the following configuration changes for the server and client: Server configuration: To set the default launch monitor, you must set the following registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Citrix\CTXHook\AppInit_Dlls\Multiple Monitor Hook Name: DefaultLaunchMon Type: REG_DWORD Data: 0=monitor 0, 1=monitor 1, and so forthâ?¦ (255 is the default) Client configuration: Edit the PreferredLaunchMonitor setting in the appsrv.ini or .ica file. This setting overrides the default launch monitor setting in the registry key. The default value is 255, which launches the application on the primary monitor. You can change the setting to a value of from 0 to n-1, where n is the number of monitors on the client. When set to one of these values, the application launches on that monitor. The monitors are ordered top down, left to right. If an application is configured with a monitor selection that cannot be handled by the client, the application launches in the primary monitor. http://support.citrix.com/article/CTX112618 From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of TSguy92 Lan Sent: Thursday, August 16, 2007 12:57 PM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] tricks for isolateing an application to a single monitor? Listies, Our organization has been rolling out duel monitors for many of our staff to allow them to work off multiple application screens at once. We've dealt with our problem applications by defining the "exclude" value for our citrix hosted seamless apps to support our multiple monitor setup. Per Citrix KB - CTX110301 http://support.citrix.com/article/entry.jspa?entryID=10386 But we're running into an annoying issue for many of our staff who want to isolate a specific published application in full screen to a single monitor. Any message pop-ups for this app, will show up in the middle of their two screens, and attempts to set the application to full screen will spread it across both monitors. After finding CTX111732 - http://support.citrix.com/article/CTX111732 <http://support.citrix.com/article/CTX111732&searchID=46139164> &searchID=46139164 I'm getting the feeling we're sunk on having any way to address this annoyance for our staff. "Status This is a limitation of the current Terminal Server multiple monitor design." Anyone have any tricks they've found that might help us get around these types of problems per application? Thanks for any input, Lan
