Recently, i put this message in the distribution list. I put this is =
the
message again.
We start a project to integrate previus scenary.

Now, we work over a pilot that works fine.

4 servers windows 2000 Sp3 with MTF FR2

1 Novell 6 SP2

120 Thin clients

To work with NDS & citrix and no NT domain, we need Zenworks and DLU=20

policy working.

All citrix servers need Novell client 4.83.

DLU policy working over this servers in Zenworks.

Users Terminal Server profile configure in Zenworks.

Nfuse configuring for authenticate over NDS, tree & context.

With this components, the farm works fine, such the integration with=20

Active directory or NT Domain. the only issue was that users in NDS=20

was created dinamically in all servers, but use a roaming profile in=20

a public share in Novell or NT Server. The printes, was accesed with=20

iprint and all drivers was installed in the 4 MTF servers.

When we implement this solution, i no found doc's, white papers with=20

this solutions, but after a week of problems, we validate this=20

solution.=20

I hope this information will help you.

What Novell client are you using and how do you have this configured? =
We
are using version 4.83SP1.

Thanks...We'll take a look at this. By the way, our situation may be
somewhat unique, as our environment looks like this:

-NDS 5.x
-NDS for NT (we have NT domain controllers but samsrv.dll has been =
replaced
w/ Novell's version, which redirects authentication traffice to NDS)
-All Citrix servers sit in one domain while all user accounts come from =
an
accounts domain
-User accounts also come from multiple contexts within NDS, thus =
contextless
login is important.

I'd be interested to know if anyone else has been brave enough to =
attempt a
Citrix deployment in such a complicated mixed environment...

Hi
You seem to be having a large number of issues with Novell and Citrix.
Ive deployed it myself a large number of times and havent come accross =
the
same issues you are having.I have been in those situations myself with =
the
mixed environment. Most of the time the issues have purely been with =
the
Flaky Novell clients or the odd registry key.

Even though you are in the states , have a chat with these guys.
They are spcialists with Citrix and Novell and also have written a =
number of
custom applications to assist with Novell /Citrix depployments. Even =
Novell
recommend them.

Also i would like to point out that im not in any way associated with
centralis in any shape or form. I have been a customer of theirs in the =
past
though.
