[THIN] Re: rollback to previous version of Citrix from PS4

I had to rollback as well. My boss had me in a conference call with our
rep from Citrix. They got all on PS4 and suggested I upgrade. It bombed
in our environment. Crawling back out of that hole was painful. Joanne

I would look into building a fallback plan next time... Ghost your
servers
before upgrading, or use FirstDefense. Or as we do, scripted installs.
I
can drag and drop an altiris job on a server and it's ready in less than
an
hour.

If the customer can afford it, get a few VMware servers up a running and
build a parallel test farm for testing applications, os patches, etc
upgrades.

this was my third time to come across this. i had managed to get my
previous stuff working in 4 so that I didn't have to address this. Now,
I have a app that is crashing b/c of the TWAIN redirecting in 4 and had
no choice but to roll back.
