Yes and if you have already created a profile the old way you should delete the old profile as well as both the old shared profile and shared home drive and then re-create once the server has been re-booted using the %username%. If you are using AD then you should be using the terminal server profile tab to create the roaming profiles. The %username% will automatically create both the profile and home directory automatically giving the profile the adequate permissions it will need, which is full control for that user. _____ From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Joe Howsmon Sent: Thursday, January 19, 2006 1:54 PM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: roaming profiles Did you use the %username% command when creating the roaming profile and home directory? _____ From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Michael Boggan Sent: Thursday, January 19, 2006 11:19 AM To: thin list Subject: [THIN] roaming profiles We are trying to implement roaming profiles and we are having a slight issue. When the user logs out, the profile is deleted from the TS server but it is not being copied back up to the profiles share on the network. The users directory is created there but it remains empty. Any ideas on this one. I checked permissions and they appear to be correct. I am at a loss. Thanks, Michael Boggan
