Ron actually has defined exactly what I'd like to do essentially. Limit
access to only a particular published application during certain time
frames. I don't think the KIX menthod you (Ron) suggested would work in a
scenario such as #1 below, would it?

Sure. BUT. I can see two scenarios (for sure with Citrix) that this is
too much.=20
1- only want to limit this to a specific application. Like a money
trading or transferring app that should only be run during banking
hours.=20

2- An app that has a backend that needs to have regular maintenance
(lets say everyday between 8 and 9 pm)

Now in both of these you want users to be able to logon and use other
apps. Just not this one..

Actually there's a policy setting available both in NT 4.0 and Win 2k to
force users to log out when login hours expire.

If you use log in hours, be sure to set up a script to boot the users
out, when log-on time expires. Login hours won't force a user out, just
keeps em from coming back in.

The quick and dirty way to do this would be to set user login hours.=20

Hoping to get more coverage on a weekday post here.

Would like to be able to limit access to published applications based on
a time frame throughout the day. I realize this could be done with Load
Manager, but upgrading XPa/XPe will cost a decent amount of money.
($2500)

So if anyone knows of a lower cost solutions, let me know.
