2003 offers domain and domain controller rename, but you must be at
Server 2003 forest functional level.

Anyone heard if Windows 2003 can do this?  I thought it offered that

it is my understanding that you cant do a rename. I could be wrong (it
happened once). The only option would be to create a new domain with a
different name, and migrate your resources. If all you need is
different
domain aliases, that can be done, but not changing the actual NetBios
domain
name.
