I think you are referring to Server to Client redirection. Server to client
Content Redirection allows the user to open embedded URLs encountered in
published applications on MetaFrame servers using the Web browser on the
client device. I am not certain it works for media player.

Hmmm...I don't think this is it. I don't want the endusers to play media
files through a session at all. I want to be able to launch the client
side media player and have the files played through it instead of the
servers. I am guessing this is something aking to content redirection.

The feature that comes closest to this is SpeedScreen Multimedia
Acceleration. Is that what you are trying to do?

Subject: [THIN] redirecting mediaplayer

All,

I am trying (unsuccessfully so far) to redirect mediaplayer content down to
the local pc. We do not want to have the servers run media player files
(mp3, avi, mpeg, etc). If a user is on the server desktop (as a published
app) and he clicks on a media file, how do I get it to use the local pc
media player and not the server's?
