Thanks for your response Chris, much appreciated.

I thought the UPD was the answer to all our problems.

Thanks again, Brianos :o)

We had this also. The problem was with the Universal Print Driver. We
switched to Native Drivers only and installed those drivers on the servers.
We have not seen the problem since.

Hope this helps.

Hi all,

We have a FR3 frame on win2k sp3.

Client printers seem to auto-create happily and from what I can tell are
being driven by the appropriate manufacturers print drivers. The problem we
have is that tiny print jobs from say notepad which we know to be about 1KB
in size seem to spool to something in the order of 3MB. I believe that the
print jobs are being sent as bitmap images instead of the PCL language.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance, Brianos :o)
