If I had *ANY* idea, I wouldn't be emailing the list :)

It doesn't seem to be a service-order thing... it appears as though the
machine has a clean connection to the IMA database... qfarm shows a nice
clean list. I'm just not sure where to look next...

on which services is the ima depending on?
I had this also before but never got the time to solve it, they wanted
me to reinstall the server.....I would like to know why this is
happening
could you check the following

 HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\ServiceGroupOrder

maybe we can compare it with a sane server....
I'm at home without a citrix server anywhere close...so can't check for
you...

If it's set to manual, it seems to work OK once started.

Services are all starting, and they're the same across all the servers
in the farm....

what if you set the ima to manual startup? does it work?
check the order in which they start, one might be depend on a service
that's not ready yet.....
need to do a bit of testing......you'll find it.

I've just added a new server to an existing small farm (2k3 ent/mfxp
fr3/sp3), and it's behaving oddly... at bootup, it's completely
unreachable via ICA, until I restart the IMA service; once I restart the
service, all's good.

Any suggestions?
