That is one of the biggest changes in MPS3 is the centralized licensing.
Farms can now share licenses. As for TS, yes, if your Win2k3 license
server was originally setup for Enterprise support as opposed to
Domain/workgroup. Remember you can always specify what license server a
TS server will get licenses from.

Subject: [THIN] new farm

Before I go and mess around I figured I would ask...

I'm about to build another MPS 3.0 farm, separate from my first. The
use of
this farm is for our customer's so I want it to be separate from our
internal production farm.

This new farm will be built in its own 2003 AD domain but it will sit on
the
same network segment as the other farm, they just won't share a common
domain, dns or wins info, although they can talk by IP. The only access
method to this farm from our customers will be through CSG/WI from the
internet.

What are the gotcha's with licensing, both citrix and ts in a 2 farm
scenario? Can licenses be shared across farms? If I have a license
server
in each farm, can the users hitting my current farm request a license
from
the new farm (something I don't want to happen) and vice versa?

Thanks,

Casey Friese
