C$ is only available to administrators. Are they local admins? Did this
change?

I have one old MF1.8 on NT4 server running at a remote office. in the login
script it maps the u: drive to there local client c: drive but for some
reason it has stopped working. I tried doing it manually and got the
following error message.

System error 55 has occurred.

The Specified network address resource or device is no longer available.

I am on the machine so i know the local c: is available. Has anyone seen
this before?

thanks,
