[THIN] moved mailbox to exchange 2003 are invisible on exchange 2000 Global adress list

Hello,
Users who their mailbox are moved from exchange 2000 to exchange 2003
are invisible within Exchange/Global address list, the other way around
no problem, users on exchange 2003 see all users who their mailboxs are
on exchange 2000 or exchange 2003.
Have above to do with replication or something like that?
