The way that I know to tell is with regedit check this value:
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\DataAccess\Version That is the version number.

I was unaware that they must all be the same.=20

I have 2.6 SP1 on a great deal of mine, and 2.7 on a handful of others
that required it.

If you could point me to the utility to find the version, I would
greatly appreciate it.

Get 2.6 SP2 or 2.7 at least. The important thing is that they must be
the same version on ALL of the servers.
http://www.microsoft.com/data/download.htm You also may need Jet 4 SP3
to install the latest MDAC's. There is a utility on this page someplace
also that will help detect what version of MDAC you have. Check out the
MF advanced concepts guide for more info about MDACs and the IMA errors
also.
