I believe that you can select the old printer name convention if you want,
look for an option that allows legacy printer names..

Subject: [THIN] long printer names change from MPS 3.0 to PS 4.0

I have a set of servers, running an application on MPS 3.0, that I want to
upgrade to PS 4.0, in my new farm.

The application uses a printer which is specified in the INI for the
application, for each user.

IN MPS 3.0 the long printer naming is client\clientname#\printer, but in PS
4.0, it is client/clientname/printer.

In order to upgrade the servers, I would need to alter hundreds of roaming
profiles, changing each one's INI file to the new naming..

Any better suggestions?
