With us this only seems to be an issue at a site in Canada, with a 512K link
back here.

Seems as though the traffic goes up on the link, and we get latency.

This is the exact issue I am working with on MS right now. I have heard
others report this issue. Unfortunately, PSS has apparently no method to
troubleshoot this issue excpet by giving them an image of your system and
running benchmark tools. At leasts, that is what they are telling me. They
also claim no one else has this issue. But, you are about the 8th site I
have heard with this issue.

We are struggling with the typing delay a few seconds.

Hello,

Are you talking about echo delay or actual pauses for a few seconds while
typing?

Hi,

I am having problem with latency in my XPa /W2K environment. It occurs in
both when using Lotus Notes and Word. It has started getting bad again now
that all the staff is back from holidays.

I have done some searching on thethin archives, and found reference to "a
small program that measures latency" but I was unable to find this tool in
the downloads. Anybody know where I can get this to objectively measure
the latency?

We do hae speedscreen defined, and I have seen discussion regarding setting
the cursor blink rate (although I'm unclear whether that should be set high
or low). I am also going to go looking around tweakcitrix.com, but still I
would appreciate any suggestions from you folks.

Thanks.

Rose
