Yeah. You need to reconfigure that. :-)

That does seem weird. But they could have added some extra added RFC
checking, too. I'm not really familiar with Trend, but maybe somebody
else is if you don't already know. Is there somewhere you can poke
around in the configuration and see what its hostname is?

I'm pretty sure that is where you're going to find your issue.

Trend. Just seems weird that it was working (we were able to send to
this
domain) in the past, and now all of a sudden, we're getting this error
message?

Sounds like the proper FQDN wasn't placed in the config for the gateway,
then...

What software are you using on it...?

Sorry, I should've given more information that I did. Godzilla is the
name
of our SMTP gateway, not our mail server.

seems your mail server is telling the server its trying to send to that
its=3D3D
 called "godzilla"

the recipient server wants a proper domain, something like
godzilla.emerson=3D3D
hosp.org - its spoof/spam checking, basically

Hello,
=3D3D20

We are having problems sending email to a couple of domains, just
curious if
anyone has ever come across this particular error message or if you
could
tell me what it means or where to start looking on how to fix it:

=3D3D20

Received >>> 504 <godzilla>: helo command rejected: need fully-qualified
hostname

=3D3D20

Unable to deliver message to <megancohen@xxxxxxxx> (and other recipients
in
the same domain).
