It is, but Apple¹s keeping things pretty close to the vest at this point. They¹re only promoting web and AJAX apps right now for development. It would be nice to see Java and Flash supported at some point as well as the ability to run 3rd party OS X apps. I use the Mac client daily and think it works fine. I really think that this version of safari does not have all the correct mime types and such.
