When I upgraded, it installed ssonsvr.exe (Single Signon). If you install
cleanly, you are asked if you want this feature. The upgrade just assumes
you want every new thing it has to offer.

the UPD2 driver doesnt work unless you remove it from your list of =
approved printers in the farm and then re add it back into the list.

i found that the farm wide setting for speedscreen3 allowing flash didnt =
inherit unless i turned in hertitance off and on again also

grab the relevant hotfixes post fr3 also i only run fr3 on w2k3 so only =
know those fixes

there is an issie with 7.1 clients GPFing the client machine when using =
UPD2 printing (7.0x is not affected)

Subject: [THIN] fr2 - fr3 upgrade gotchas?

hey all
just about to embark on a farm-wide fr2 to fr3 in place upgrade.

normally I would not consider such a task - but a production environment =
cant be out until all servers are rebuilt.

can anyone point out any definitive "gotcha's" that I need to be aware =
of during such an upgrade?

we run a single published app on w2k sp4 xpe fr2
