I have been down this path before. It is not worth monkeying with appsrv.ini and pn.ini if you can avoid it. Web Interface and PnAgent are the way to go if you can. You can install Web Interface on a Presentation Server box or Web server that has IIS. It has a very small footprint. Even if you do not want a Web Interface site, it is worthwhile to use for a PnAgent site to populate icons and shortcuts. When I try to use the same shortcut it fails, is this even possible when it created in a users profile is it linked there some way. -----Original Message----- From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Joe Shonk Sent: 18 March 2008 16:23 To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: connecting to a farm in different farm Yes, and you can merge multiple farms together as a bonus. This will also allow you to manage the ICONs on the Desktop of you existing farm. When I copy the shortcut the application set is unavailable, I have tried using the same PN.ini file but still no difference as I see all the settings is in this file. thanks Ronnie Visit our website : www.ltai.ie __________________________________________ Lufthansa Technik Airmotive Ireland Limited.
