we are using a policy(based on ipaddres) and that citrix print tool(getting
old,forgot its name).
the strange thing is,that most users dont have problems..first i was
thinking about a lack of userricht,so i checked microsofts and citrixs
knowledge base and they pointed me to a specific reg key,but that key seems
to be ok.btw,the users are conencting through ie(6 and 7)

How are you assigning network printers? Session Policy? Scripting? Logging
on as the user and mapping the printers?

well, when some users try too change the printer,the printer changes back
when they log off and on again.the printers are network printers,a user can
change the default printer so he(or she) doesnt get an error.i checked the
registry for the enty mentioned in kb/933996,CTX102126 and CTX104375 and
that entry point to the right networking printer.
so i got no idea about the cause of the problems

Are you saying that the changed default printer doesn't stick or are you
saying that you get an error when a user tries to change the default
printer?
If the default printer doesn't stick, are you referring to client printers
or network printers?
The default config always defaults to whatever is the default on the client.
If you have network printers configured then there are several reasons why
the default won't stick.
. Defaulting to main client printer is still enabled.
. A Session policy is changing the default printer
. Printers are being mapped by session policy but they are being
deleted at every logoff
. Roaming profiles not saving correctly

Guys,
we are running mf4 with several different apps.several users cannot change
the default printer in these apps.i checked kb/933996,i checked CTX102126
and i checked CTX104375 but nothing.The key these articles talk about
exists with the right printer on the local printserver.
Can someone give me some advice?
