How are you assigning network printers? Session Policy? Scripting? Logging on as the user and mapping the printers? If the default printer doesn't stick, are you referring to client printers or network printers? The default config always defaults to whatever is the default on the client. If you have network printers configured then there are several reasons why the default won't stick. . Defaulting to main client printer is still enabled. . A Session policy is changing the default printer . Printers are being mapped by session policy but they are being deleted at every logoff . Roaming profiles not saving correctly Provide more details about your printing config and we can help.
