In case any of you are running Citrix on 2003 sp1. This was the fix for
the audio issue we had on our new Citrix boxes:

The article talks about strictly RDP, but we didn't have the problem
over RDP, only over ICA. Either way, applying this hotfix solved the
problem for us.

Subject: audio issue with new Servers

Hello -

We were running Metaframe XP FR3 on 6 Windows 2000 Server boxes. 3 were
DL360 G1's and the other 3 were DL360 G2's. I built 6 new boxes on HP
BL35ps on Server 2003. We are still running Metaframe XP FR3 on these
new boxes.

On the new servers, whenever someone connects via ICA and makes an error
typing or just a mistake in general, like closing a word document
without saving for example, there is a beep that happens and the users
hear it. However, when the same user connects to the same server over
RDP and produces the same error or mistake, no beep.

On the old servers, when the same user connects over ICA and makes the
same error or mistake, no beep. RDP, no beep as well.

I have checked all of my ICA settings on the servers old and new, and as
far as I can tell, they all match.

How can I stop the beeping?
I have tried everything, except for the right thing obviously!

Thanks in advance!
