While I agree on using ServerLock, I don't agree using it in a Citrix
environment.

You should either use Trend Micro ServerProtect or Symantec NAV CE
(the server install, not client). I don't think the current AV
products you are installing were really meant to be installed in a TS
environment.

Consider using AppSense or Watchguard Serverlock instead... It's not
virus software, but it will lockdown the Server so tight that a virus
wouldn't be allowed to execute it's payload.

I do not want to start this thread AGAIN as someone stated earlier.
However, please read our scenario and if you have the same please
respond
with any suggestions.

2 servers
Win2K, MetaFrame XP FR2

User's run an email program (Eudora). Attachments are saved to a
network
drive (user's home drive, novell). Our local workstation's have
McAfee but
Citrix does not utilize the local vscan software when dealing with
ICA
connection's. We do not have any vscan software on our Novell servers
(home
directories) due to performance hits.

We need to apply some kind of virus scan software on our Citrix
servers. We
installed McAfee Netshield only to promptly Blue Screen the server
the
first time Eudora was launched. I have also tried CA's InoculateIT
only to
see that the network drives were not scanning on access, nor was the
application deleting the infected files, only renaming them. I cannot
seem
to get the Sophos application client to work inside a terminal server
session.

Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

When is Citrix going to just come out with their own virus scanning
software for these types of situations???
