Hey Mark,

I think the license conversion is something your reseller should take up
with Citrix. We have never done this for a client to my knowledge, so I
do not know if it will work or is even allowed. However, you won't be
able to use purchased XPa connection licenses with an XPe product code,
IIRC.

Subject: [THIN] Xpe to Xpa "downgrade"?

Back when we started our Citrix installation, we went with XPe licenses.
Well, it turns out the only "advanced" feature we really use is load
balancing, so we could have done just fine with Xpa licenses.

We have 50 Xpe licenses right now, and we think we're going to be buying
5-15 more sometime soon. Is it allowable to buy Xpa licenses and mix
with our Xpe licenses? Can the e's be converted to a's so we can save
on SA renewals?
