Hi Jamie,
You can patch this stuff quite easily provided the settings are the same for
all users using the Docucenter printer.
Each user's printer settings are stored under
HKCU\Printers\DevModePerUser\<printer_name>. These are derived from the
"master" settings in HKLM\CCS\Control\Print\Printers\<printer_name>\Default
DevMode.
So you've got a number of options.
1. dump the devmodeperuser\<printername> value into a regfile and patch it
into users profiles on login.
2. figure out which binary flags control what feature and do this via
scripting
3. if the printer settings are modified by an administrator while in "change
user /install" mode, you can delete the old <printername> value for users
when they log on, and then it will update automatically when they attach to
the printer the next time.
4. Modify the "master" settings. Delete the existing devmodeperuser
<printername> value and stand back.

Is anyone out there using the above printer in a Citrix environment, and if
so please help!!!
When users login, and the printers are reverse mapped, it doesn't pick up
any of the extra settings (Large Capacity Tray, LanFax, Duplex unit,
stapling etc). You have to modify this manually for each user on each
server. A real pain. I have tried a few of the citrix documents, but
everything they suggest doesn't work.
Any ideas.
