Hi Al,

It really depends on what it's being used for. Carl posted the upgrade doco
that explains all the extra pieces that now come with it:
http://support.citrix.com/article/ctx122303.

I also think that.

VM Hosted Apps is a beauty -
http://support.citrix.com/proddocs/index.jsp?lang=en&topic=/xenapp/ps-library-wrapper.html

And perhaps Power and Capacity management -

Cheers,

Jeremy.

Subject: [THIN] Xenapp4.5 FP5 upgrade to XenApp 5 FP2

Hi All,

I would like to upgrade our citrix environment from 4.5 to 5 with the latest
FP2, along with upgrading the web interface to the latest version.

However from a business point of view I need to outline the major benefits for
upgrading and the main one I can see is that Edgesight monitoring is introduced
in XenApp5.0.

What other major benefits will I get from the upgrade?

Cheers

Al
