Think of XA 5 as simply a platform upgrade, Isolation 3.0, and UI
enhancements. There are 50+ new features, but Citrix doesn't have a list
to tell you what they are.

Yes, the base code for XA 5.0 on Windows 2003 is identical to CPS 4.5 FP1.
To get new CPS features, you have to install it on Windows Server 2008.
That's why there are different features in the Windows Server 2008 version.

All of the other components like licensing, web interface, edgesight,
streaming, etc. have been updated. You can install those components on 2003
servers to make it look like it is a new version of CPS.

Confused yet?

Why wouldn't it work? Isn't it the same format? Also I successfully
unzipped the Windows Server 2008 flavor without an issue.
XA 5.0 on Windows 2003 is identical to CPS 4.5 FP1?!
