Paul,

Some thoughts based on what's been posted.

- If you are enforcing a policy for all users to mandate use of the UPD
(universal printer driver) AND that the client's local default printer is
the only printer mapped for their session; then it would seem to me that
importing print servers is a redundant step. IE - in the case of your setup,
you are NOT mapping the imported printers to users / groups, you're
dependent on their client session printers.

- going into Install mode (change user /install) and installing the
printers, simply puts all printers installed under that mode into the
printer selection menu for any user. I don't think this is what you're
looking for if your policy is set to map local printers. The end result of
doing this, would be a user would see ALL installed printers in addition to
any printers they successfully map.

With Citrix printing mapping issues, the event log is your best friend. Have
a user login, notice what printers they do or don't have, and then look over
any printer errors in the event log.

Lastly, what is the value setup on user accounts in AD? Make sure that users
are allowed to connect local printers in the "environment" tab of their
domain accounts.
