According to Citrix, there is a known issue with making MPS 3.0 servers ZDC
in a farm with existing FR3 servers (and possibly FR2 as well). This is not
documented, but they confirmed they have had cases. They believe it was
being addressed, and MAY be fixed with the hotfix rollup for MPS 3.0. So I
got some answers, but nothing concrete.

I upgraded my MPS 3.0 servers with the hotfix rollup, and so far, so good.

Have you gotten any further with this? Solutions?

So I read the documentation....and upgrade my XP Data Collectors first, to
MPS 3.0.

I get C++ errors when running the Management Console, which relates to
imasrv.exe. It kills the IMA, and requires a reboot. I call CTX tech
support, they tell me that once a XP server is upgraded to MPS 3.0, it can't
be your Data Collector anymore.

Yet their migration documentation states it should be, and that the ZDC
should be the first servers upgraded. Citrix SE informed me it was fine.

WTF?
