[THIN] XP FR3 question

Hi ,
I have a few servers to rebuild and I am updating my build,
currently I have XP FR3 sp4 installed but on all servers sp4 has been
installed after the server has been build
now that I am going to be rebuilding the entire farm would I be better
to install XP fr3 then sp4 before I install all the apps ?
