We just completed rollout of wireless for the whole hospital.

Setup includes Cisco Aironet 1200 APs, Cisco ACS server with PEAP
authentication. We also use Spectralink Wi-Fi VoIP phones. Wiring is done
using LComm system when all the APs are in wiring closets and there is
special coax cable with numerous antennas connected to each AP. This way you
get more coverage per AP, more physical security and you do not need PoE.

The system is not much in use yet just Spectralink phones. Seems to work
well for us. ICA runs just as well. Important thing is to do the site survey
right and make sure you do not overlap AP more then 15%. It is especially
important for Wi-Fi phones.

Thanks,

Subject: [THIN] Wireless Devices

I've read a couple places that using an ICA client, Citrix PN, etc..,
gives poor performance in a wireless environment. Anyone that's using
Citrix in a 802.11 environment care to elaborate on the performance, how
many devices per access point, network saturation, etc?
