You dont want OVA / OVF. Just convert to VHD.

All OVF gets you is the ram and processor count in addition to the VHD

All OVA gets you is the same as a TAR archive.

No real benefit to having just a VHD.  Which Disk2Vhd from MSFT can do.

XenServer can import VHD and create a Vm in one step.
