Hi Ron, I know that, it is a Virtual channel in the RDP 5.2 protocol. I can't imagine that's nessesary to have a Sound Card in the server to use client audio redirection on the Terminal Client.. This is stated in a PowerPoint presentation distributed by Microsoft on ITForum 2002 With regards, Ruben Spruijt -----Oorspronkelijk bericht----- Van: Ron Oglesby [mailto:roglesby@xxxxxxxxxxxx]=20 Verzonden: vrijdag 11 april 2003 14:53 Aan: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Onderwerp: [THIN] Re: Windows 2003 Terminal Services Audio redirection.. Yeah RDP 5.2 (with 2003) has an audio channel. It is off by default on the client. You have to turn it on per connection but its there., Ron Oglesby Senior Technical Architect =3D20 RapidApp Office 312.372.7188 Mobile 312.961.2380 email roglesby@xxxxxxxxxxxx =3D20 -----Original Message----- From: Ruben Spruijt [mailto:Ruben@xxxxxxxxxxxx]=3D20 Sent: Friday, April 11, 2003 7:09 AM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Windows 2003 Terminal Services Audio redirection..
