R2 comes on two CD's. 1st CD is Windows 2003 SP1, 2nd CD is the R2
features/components. As you said, the setup installs the
features/components, but doesn't enable them by default. But I don't
understand what value the R2 features add to a terminal server deployment.
In other words, why would you install CD2 on a terminal server?

Windows 2003 R2 comes with .NET Framework 2.0 but it isn't installed by
default. You have to select it in the Windows Components. I have two
Windows 2003 R2 servers with PS4 and they have had no issues.
