We have 3 2003 TS/Xpa boxes running in a 2000 domain with no real issues. This is a production environment in a high school. The only issue we have seen is with a marking program that was written in Delphi and is fairly old. -----Original Message----- From: Timothy Mangan [mailto:tmangan@xxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Tuesday, October 14, 2003 3:32 PM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: Windows 2000 vs. 2003 We are running 2003 in a test lab since April, not production. Works great. TS Licensing may be on the TS box. Timothy R. We're doing a new project here, and we're thinking about building this new server with Windows 2003 vs. 2000. Is anyone out there running 2003 yet in a production environment? I understand that I'll have to run a 2003 Terminal Server Licensing box. Can this be run on the same server? If TS Licensing cannot be run on the same box, can it be run on one internal to the network and a pinhole put in the firewall to allow communications? The term server is going to be in our DMZ to provide additional access to vendors. Since we're starting out from scratch, and the word out there is that 2003 is better, we're thinking about going that route from the start. Let me know!
