I have recently set up a NEW server with SP3 (installed prior to
installing
Citrix) and so far have not had any issues with the box at all (still
testing prior to going into production)

Well we did it as an update and the issue we had was that it hosed the
imaservice and took the servers out of the farm. When we tried to put
them back into the farm...our apps were gone and we had to recreate them
all. Unless you are doing a clean install I'd have to say wait or do it
after you have made a really good backup. Otherwise if it is a new fresh
clean install I would put it on before I installed Citrix or any apps
and I would suspect you should be alright.

We spoke with Citrix support today and they said under no circumstance
should SP3 be installed....
